    The DEFENDER-3 Stab Protection Vest is a widely-used choice in the Security and Public Safety sectors.

    The outer fabric of the vest is very durable. This makes it particularly suited for law enforcement and ideal for outdoor use.

    The technology used to make these stab protection vests are innovative and unique throughout the world. This tactical stab-proof vest weighs only approx. 1.4 kg, (at level 1) for example. The protective layer is made of a high-strength aramid fabric to which a special plastic is inseparably applied. The combination of high strength fibres and the energy absorbing plastic create a material of which its specific properties even exceed those of stainless steel plates. 

    The weight is approx. 4.5 times lower than that of a comparably thick stainless steel plate. Response Wear have taken the armadillo as a model to ensure flexibility and breath-ability. Just like this armoured mammal, it makes use of an overlapping scaly structure. However, this structure differs from that of other suppliers in that it is not possible to push it apart. This enables a high degree of safety in combination with maximum flexibility.

    Carbon fibre, glass fibre and aramid: the best materials on the market for flexibility and lightweightedness. Weighing from 1.4 kg, (at level 1) the vest offers a high level of comfort and is certified by VPAM according to guideline KDIW 2004, level K1. The technology used to make these stab protection vests are innovative and unique throughout the world. After years of intensive research, Response Wear have succeeded in producing a textile composite that is at the same time safe, light and flexible. This ultra-light, flexible and adjustable stab protection vests is best suited as an undercover vest. A protection area of 0.25 m² at a weight of only 1.4kg (level 1) can be achieved by a patent applied technology for the protection material. The material is exceptionally flexible thanks to its scaly structure, in addition to being breathable and comfortable due to the special mesh structure of the outer fabric. With adjustable shoulder straps and flexible waist belts the vest can be adjusted in a wide range. The sides are open for even higher flexibility and low weight. On demand, an additional side protection can be applied one sided or on both sides. This guarantees the highest level of protection. Level 1 protection is recommended for general security or covert related duties.

    Very similar to the Signature vest the Stealth has a mix of breathable mesh and cotton fabrics while still offering the highest level of stab protection. Weighing from approximately 1.5 kg, (level 1) the vest offers a high level of comfort and is certified by VPAM according to guideline KDIW 2004, level K1.
