    SORD Day Pack

    Designed to meet the day-to-day requirements of an operators ‘grab bag’.

    It’s simple yet bomb proof design makes it ideal for field use. The tubular internal compartment has a dry bag style roll top closure minimising the amount of water and moisture entering the pack in wet climates that will damage equipment much faster in any standard zip pack. While not water proof, in an amphibious or tropical environment this feature makes a big difference. The same applies for hot arid dusty areas where dust and silt find their way into everything. Under the lid is a single small mesh pouch with sturdy zip closure, ideal for miscellaneous items. Reinforced 25mm tube tape carry handles on three sides. On either side of the pack, 25mm loop locks have been stitched into place for compression straps that can be user added if required. There are two antenna / hydration system hose ports on the lid. Internal 30 litre capacity. External hard point, stitched to the rear face. Built from type 7 webbing, reinforced stitching and parachute rated V ring hardware.     The updated and reconfigured Hydration Helmet Carrier (HHC) has been loosely based off the popular and time proven SORD Hydration Extra Large pouch.

    With vetted user feedback and adaptation towards evolution, the HHC has an adjustable mesh beavertail load carriage bucket area with six adjustable tensioning straps to manage the load. The adjustable expansion bucket easily accommodates items such as: Helmets, Optics, 84mm Rounds, Water Bottles, Comms Batteries, Ghillie Hoods etc. The internal pocket within the HHC has been redesigned to allow the carrier to properly re-role itself as a radio pack for devices up to the size of an AN/PRC 117G. The HHC is the perfect go-between carrier whether it’s being utilised as either a MOLLE platform mounted expandable light weight assault pack, small day pack utilising the supplied shoulder strap kit or as a grab bag sitting in the top of a pack or behind a car seat. The foam padded, Air-Mesh lined shoulder straps have quick detach Fastex buckles allowing the user to jettison the pack in an emergency. These shoulder straps can be easily removed to allow a more streamlined mounting option on the back of a carrier. For platform mounting purposes the HHC is 6 MOLLE columns wide.

    Based on a time tested, battle proven and widely accepted US design that is hard to ignore, SORD has added to this great design concept enhancing its comfort, strength and inter-operability.
    One of the most prominent additions is our load attachment buckle with its Mil-Spec high tensile hardware and webbing, allowing the STRIKE pack to be attached to any vehicle or strop and will not come loose, tear off or break free (battle tested in Afghanistan). Back face lining has been replaced with an extremely comfortable air-mesh material. Internal tear away MOLLE panel allows the attachment of MEI’s and various other pouches. When not required simply pull the insert out and set it aside. Twin antenna / hydration hose ports with Velcro down flaps. Two internal zip mesh pockets are large enough to fit a wide array of items but have been kept small enough to limit drooping. Each internal pouch opens via a single zip slider to minimize slider creep when loaded up. Six external compression straps with Fastex clips control loads and take pressure off the main lid zip. Large Velcro square panel for IFF / ANF tabs and various "bling". Large tube tape carry handle.
