Have worn them for a little over a month now.
Positives:
Significant ankle support.
Much thicker and stronger sole.
Far improved grip climbing ladders and AFV.
No noticeable loss of traction on wet smooth surfaces.
Helped me a great deal during stomps as my feet don't hurt from every little trail rock anymore.
Negatives:
Has a tendency to pick up little rocks.
It's definitely a heavier boot and running is a touch harder.
Overall, I highly appreciate the change. Issued boots are light and thin if I need that kind of thing. I'm much more inclined to the qualities of something tougher and sturdier.
Well worth the purchase so far as an addition to my ever growing boot cupboard.
