The certified version of the all-rounder: With the Z-8S C, LOWA offers a robust shoe that impresses with its functionality and low weight. It is perfectly designed for use in dry regions with difficult terrain and marches with moderately heavy packs. This suitability is also underlined by the use-optimised rubber compound and tread pattern of the sole.  The mid-height upper made from hard-wearing suede ensures optimum grip and support, while the durable PU material of the sole provides very good cushioning and step stability thanks to different degrees of hardness. 

The safety-certified Z-8S is a robust boot that impresses with functionality for operations in demanding terrain where a supportive boot is desirable.

• Split Leather Upper - Extra-rugged 2.00mm split leather upper provides durability in harsh conditions.The perforated leather improves the breathability of the boot.
• Medium Flex Stabilizer Full Length - Stability for a moderately flexible sole. Provides sturdy underfoot support
• LOWA MONOWRAP® Frame - Reduces overall boot weight without compromising flexibility. An external PU frame across the midsole to provide lateral stability
• Polyurethane (PU) Midsole - PU midsoles have superior attributes to extend the life of their boots. Typically, more than 2.5 times than EVA. They are a terrific shock absorber and rebound well.  PU midsoles do not deform under heavy packloads so you can carry more without compromising weight and flexibility.
• Closed Lace Hooks - Lacing hooks with a closed design guide the laces through the boot securely. Prevents the laces from getting caught on objects upons contact.
• LOWA® Tactical Z Trac® Outsole - This outsole is designed by LOWA with an application specific profile design made from an optimised rubber compound. The safety certified ('C') outsole meets the SRA standard for slip resistance and has been optimised for fast roping. The advantage of a rubber outsole is its good grip on varying surfaces so you have the most control on slippery terrain. It is also heat and cold insulating, antistatic and resistant to contact heat, oil and fuel.
