VALHALLA’s founder and CEO served in the Infantry for many years on numerous deployments, and has firsthand knowledge of the importance of lightening the load.
He has tasked the R&D team to design gear which has multiple uses. The R&D department have taken the US issued poncho, that is a vital piece of kit when the heavens open and you have to get up for piquet, and redesigned the poncho to incorporate the components of the hoochie. So if the need arises you can quickly deploy the poncho as a shelter, when the conditions demand more than your standard Bivi bag.

I purchased this poncho to downsize from the issued rain jacket to minimise space. Not only does this poncho keep you dry, it packs down to almost nothing in your pack and isn’t as bulky when worn with the required SCE of the job. It also doubles as a hootchie is needed.

Purchased for an emergency backup when out hunting. Fits over clothing and pack. Light weigh and much easier to pack with limited space. Only downside is its noisy.
