Yes, it is very thin (5mm), and the length of 102cm is a bit of an overkill. The VALHALLA team is always looking for ways to improvise and enhance tactical gear to complement and enhance the comfort and effectiveness of our serving warriors. We have designed the VALHALLA Shorty Mat with six water-repellent, closed-cell foam panels, encased in a 210D waterproof ripstop in our new Australian Compatible Camouflage (ACC), which complements the existing AMCU. The Shorty Mat is a comfortable and reliable alternative to bulky self-inflatable mats and can be stowed neatly inside the ALICE frame or strapped to your pack with ease.
